About Us
We are a father-daughter duo, born on the same day, who started this brand out of a shared love of craftsmanship. What began as a hobby has become a shared creative venture.

After graduating from Parsons School of Design in 2023 and three years in the advertising industry, Emilia brings the storytelling and branding expertise into the business. She has a very still hand and a lot of patience. You'll find her at the bench, teaching herself a new technique and spending hours perfecting it. She loves organic shapes that reveal themselves during the creative process.
Vahid, a scientist by vocation, Vahid has used his eagle eyes in the physics lab for decades. Originally from Tehran, Iran, Vahid brings a global perspective to design, as well as unmatched perseverance to solve a challenge.
About Joon
Joon is Persian for dear, an affectionate way to address someone. The name for the brand originated one morning on summer vacation, when Vahid called his daughters, saying "Time for breakfast, Millie and Leli Joon." We felt Joon had a nice ring to it, and was easy to pronounce in English, (just pretend you're saying "June"). During that breakfast, we scribbled around on a napkin, and Vahid tried out how it would look in Persian — the outcome is the calligraphy you see in our logo.
We want our jewellery to be personal, hence why each piece is one-of-a-kind, made just for you and no one else. No piece will have followed the same process or used exactly the same material, but each will have been made with the same amount of love!
